The location is perfect near the center but in the middle of nature with peace and quiet, there are many charming cafes in the area, warm personal relations from the host family are helpful and so kind! The most beautiful view in Pai!!!! And the cutest dog in the world if you like dogs you will fall in love with him and even if you don't he is a very nice bear that doesn't harm and doesn't bother anyone. It was very hard to leave we loved our quiet corner there. There is no air conditioning, but it really wasn't needed, the days are not very hot and the evenings are real cool, just what we wanted

Amazing host, beautiful location, good value for money

Our honeymoon at Kanlaya's Eyrie was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived and were warmly greeted by Philippe, Gayle, and their family, we were captivated by the stunning beauty of the house and the breathtaking views. The Master Suite was pure luxury, offering a private jacuzzi pavilion with panoramic vistas. The ambiance of the house was simply enchanting, we enjoyed relaxing on the porch, taking in the serene surroundings. During our stay, we strolled to the river at the end of the property, followed by a fascinating Karen Tribe blessing ritual performed by Gayle's family. The candlelit dinner that evening was a culinary delight, featuring authentic Northern Thai cuisine prepared by Gayle herself. Releasing lanterns into the night sky was a truly magical experience. The next morning, we embarked on a pre-dawn adventure with Philippe and Pen, enjoying a delicious breakfast amidst the stunning mountain scenery. Philippe's deep knowledge of nature and his keen eye for detail allowed us to spot and appreciate numerous remarkable orchids. Pen's presence on the tour was invaluable, as her Thai language skills enabled seamless communication with locals and tribal people at the Koffie plantation. We then explored a remote temple, visited the Arabica Koffie plantation, and wandered through the charming village of Pang Mapha. Without Kanlaya's Eyrie and the personalized tours organized by Philippe, Gayle, and Pen, we would never have discovered this hidden gem of Thailand. This unforgettable experience has solidified our honeymoon as the most memorable part of our 3.5-week trip. We wholeheartedly give Kanlaya's Eyrie a perfect 10 out of 10. Very quiet, beautiful view from the terrace

My stay at JJ’s was absolutely the best experience I could’ve asked for, and more! Starting with JJ being the best hostess, so cute and professional and always so helpful with everything I asked, as well as the rest of the wonderful staff. My room was fantastic, spacious and comfy, great AC and shower. Every single day I was refilled with complementary water, food, coffee and snacks! The hotel is beautiful and has a lovely little pool which is perfect in the warm noon sun in Pai. This is a place I will 100% get back to ❤️

This place was beautiful! The view from the hut was amazing. The owners were lovely as well. We felt really immersed in the rural Thai setting. Cool chill out spot with nets to relax on as well! It was basic and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would recommend having a bike as it is a little out of the way. We arrived around sunset and there wasn't a restaurant open - and the general store was pretty basic.

Very warm welcome, peaceful and comfortable place. Good windows, good shower, comfortable beds, very clean. Very helpful and professional hosts speaking very good English. Close to tourist attractions. Possibility to eat very well anytime on site as well as possibility to organize guided tours, visits, transportation, transfers, motorbike rentals, etc. Our best homestay during our 1-month trip.

The homestay was super spacious and comfortable. The location is close to town but away from the business. Very friendly people and comfy bed!
