For us the location was perfect, it's very quiet, has an amazing view, private beach with brilliant snorkeling possibilities (we saw a turtle during our morning swim). It's a bit remote, but has a very good restaurant, so if you're not looking for the buzz and parties of the town, it's a perfect spot. The owner and staff are very chill and warm.

Also got some scuba diving done with the dive ceter conviently linked to the guest house.Can highly recommend a stay here. They have it all!

If I needed anything at all, they were always right there to help. The food in the restaurant is really good and the prices are reasonable. The wait staff is amazing. It's clean and comfortable and in a great location. The owner is a very nice man as well.

This place has everything you want in a perfect hostel: great beds with space and privacy, super calm, lovely staff (do not speak much English so just use a translator app if needed), amazing view from the rooftop with a useful little kitchen station, perfect location, and a more than fair price. I came back 3 times, and it is by far my favourite hostel on Koh Tao. If you pay a tiny bit more for the smaller dorm, you get a lovely window/balcony with a view on the pier. Oh and they also provide water refill which I think is so sensible on a beautiful reefy island.

Guesthouse Sairee Sairee is a 5-minute walk from the lively night life area and a 5-minute drive from Maehaad Pier. Great location and price! Our room was nice and quiet yet super close to the liveley parts. Beds are nice and comfy with spacious patio.
