The property owner could not be any friendlier--he's very warm and personable. We appreciated that he was willing to give us tips on the area and take the time to smile! We only stayed one night, but we did enjoy our stay. We stayed in the older building, which is charming in its own way (with original mosaic flooring from a Czech architect) There's a bakery and coffee shop and supermarket within walking distance.

We made a very good choice, for sure, booking the Alp House apartment for our family(2 adults and 2 kids). It had everything we need, a well equiped kitchen with a dining zone, a nice bedroom with one comfortable double bed and one bunkbed(the kids enjoyed it a lot). We all had a very good sleep after one day of hiking. Also, the property is 3-5 minutes by car to the parking place from where you can walk to Mala Osojnica, the perfect place to take pictures to the Lake Bled. Or you can get there by bike or by foot. The contact with the owners was perfect. After the booking they sent as a document with all the details of the check in/out, restaurants, groceries, everything you need for a good stay.

I went for the smallest of the 3 apartments in Villa Dzungla as I was travelling alone but it still exceeded my expectations in terms of size and facilities. The room was large and very comfortable with a good sized en-suite and everything fresh and clean and in good working order. Good TV and Wifi and a major bonus was the fridge in the room which made it possible to cool drinks and prepare packed lunches for next day etc. Location-wise the accommodation is perfect. Just on the outskirts of the small town of Bled only 15-20 mins walk away from the lake itself but far enough away to be nice and quiet at night. Other bonus was the spectacular mountain view from the apartment. There is a Mercator Supermarket very conveniently situated only 200m down the road towards the main road into Bled and the nearest bus stop for buses to Ljubljana is only 10 mins walk away on that same road or you can just go to the main Bust Station in Bled which is about 20 mins walk away.
