The hosts were kind, responsive, and made sure everything was seamless. You can feel how much care has been poured into this place. Room and bathroom sparkling clean, the balcony offers a stunning view, the host contacted us before arriving and gave us all the information needed and he was so nice. We will come back for sure!

You can do everything there: cook a meal, take a dip in the pool or in the Danube, or just kick it back, knowing that a cold drink is always at hand. It also has a geographical feature that I find quite charming: the sun rises twice! (like at the Double Rise) Once at sunrise, when you begin to see, and then when it rises from behind the mountain opposite over the Danube. Given that the sun is higher up when it comes out proper, I've seen some of the most amazing "golden bridges" ever. All the rooms have balconies facing the river, and an other useful thing is that the parking lot is right out the door, so you can have your car as a quasi extension of your room, which is quite useful. The host is the best of the best. He treats every guest as a friend, and would go above and beyond for you to have the best experience possible. There are so many wonderful things to see and do in the surrounding area, and he is a treasure trove of information.

At the homestay, the units are equipped with a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels. Some units include a terrace and/or a balcony with river views and outdoor furniture. Right on the boardwalk next to the river in a tiny little cute town. New facilities. We were fortunate to experience some night life within a 2 min walk - soccer game, food, nice people. 4 min drive to Golubac fortress.
