Everything was absolutely perfect. The buildng is grand as is the garden, a little oasis in the middle of the city. The rooms have been restored immaculately. We were greated with fresh lemonade and a homemade treat.

The property is really nice, it is quite in the middle of a green garden. The room is clean, the jacuzzi is a nice extension of the terrace. The breakfast is superb, however you need to be prepared that it is not only a breakfast, but a ceremony too. :) It is perfectly composed, you will really enjoy it. The landlady is very nice and helpful, she even speaks English, which is not very common in Réunion. Her husband creates great eggs for breakfast. The location is good, you can reach anything in the island in 1 hour by a car. We enjoyed every moments spent there.

La Rose du Sud is located 5 km from the centre of Saint-Joseph and a 15-minute drive from both Cap Mechant and the Grand Galet Waterfalls.

Besides the beautiful and comfortable room the highlight of our stay was the exceptional hospitality of Bastien, Fred and Raphael. They truely make your stay to something very special - thanks again for making us feel like home. „La Bulle Verte“ is the perfect description for this place, you feel like entering into a private small jungle. We stayed for 7 nights and we felt we could’ve stayed even longer. The location is perfect to explore the south with all it’s highlights. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed slow mornings listening to the birds and watching the palmtrees in the wind. Merci beaucoup and au revoir 😌

We had a wonderful stay at La Carangaise. Paule is a delightful hostess, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and help us with our trip around Réunion. The studio had a fabulous enclosed terrace and an impeccable bathroom. It is just seconds from the coastline, and all in all, a lovely place to stay.
