Everything about the Sao Francisco accommodation was excellent. Starting with the communication with the manager, then the location itself, which is fantastic, the room is clean, nicely furnished, everything is as described. The breakfast is good. Everything you need is on the menu, whether you like cereals, sweet or savoury breakfast, fruit salad, juices, cakes... The woman who serves breakfast is very friendly and takes great care to ensure everything is in order. The manager Sonia is very helpful to make your stay in Funchal perfect. We can only say the best for the manager Sonia and Sao Francisco accomodation.

Situated in a restored 18th-century home, Casa Da Piedade offers a lounge with fireplace, outdoor garden with barbecue and brightly decorated rooms. Wi-Fi and parking are free. A magnificent accommodation from 1920 (or so), very cozy, warm. The garden is like a small jungle with a pool. Close by (3 min walk) a burger car with excellent offer. Very relaxing surroundings.

The hosts were wonderfully kind and open, the breakfast was excellent, and the house had a welcoming atmosphere. We truly felt at home and very comfortable throughout our stay.

Beds were very comfortable . It was very clean and had extra blankets and also AC. So we were able to sleep very nicely. The water heater was amazing! After staying in a hotel where The water didn't even heat to adequate warm level, showering in this house felt amazing ! It heated instantly. There was welcome snacks and coffee so we enjoyed that too. Loved everything!!!! Also, loved the labels on everything! It's the small details that mattered so much ❤️
