Boasting a shared lounge, Solar dos Poetas is a guest house situated in a historic building in the centre of Lisbon, close to Dona Maria II National Theatre. The property has river and city views, and is less than 1 km from Commerce Square. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and a lift for guests. Beautiful building, with gorgeous decoration, every floor with a different design, inspired in Portuguese writers and poets. Very good breakfast, with typical pastries and piano music. Very kind staff too. Location was great, just next to the metro, tram N•28 and shops.

Enjoying a privileged location in the historic center of Lisbon, the property is a former palace whose construction dates back to the 16th century. This boutique hotel combines modern comfort with a classic atmosphere. We were sad to have to leave! The property is amazing in every little detail. The decor, facilities, staff and food. The rooms and common areas are delightful, the breakfast area is beautifully set up with lovely food. A welcome drink is provided at 3pm in a wonderful area with individual bread and cheese platters and help-yourself wine from 3 barrels ( yes true!) And the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Shoutout to Ricardo who texted us the room was ready after a long exhausting journey, to Carla the singer/ breakfast hostess who was exquisite and helpful and to Joao the doorman who went out of his way to ask if we needed assistance when our taxi stood us up. And to all the staff whose name we don’t know . Thank you for our lovely stay

Bica FLH Suites is located in the historical centre of Lisbon, within the famed Bica neighbourhood. The building which was an art gallery since the fifties, was refurbished in the beginning of 2017.

The comfortable rooms feature a rainfall shower, free toiletries, hair dryer, air conditioning, desk and a flat-screen TV. Free WiFi is available and the cosy terrace outside is ideal for warm evenings. Some of the rooms offer a view overlooking the garden. Modern spacious room, great shower and toiletries, lovely fresh continental breakfast. Coffee and cake available in the breakfast room all day. Amazing helpful staff.

Tesouro da Baixa offers air-conditioned double rooms, twin rooms and suites, all fitted with a flat-screen TV, a minibar and a coffee machine. For guests’ convenience, each room includes a private bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer. We visited Lisbon from Sesimbra for a couple of days to see the Christmas Markets, lights and festivities. The location was very convenient and perfect for walking to all of these things and seeing the city. The room was very nice, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The (included) breakfast was outstanding! They offered quite a spread of options for food and beverages, and everything was fresh, delicious and frequently replenished. Upon request, they were happy to make eggs to order. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the perverbial "cherry on top" of an amazing experience. They were all super helpful and friendly, and made the effort to find a personal connection with us.

Situated in the centre of Lisbon, less than 1 km from Commerce Square, the historic Alecrim ao Chiado features accommodation with free WiFi and a bar. The property has river and city views, and is less than 1 km from Dona Maria II National Theatre. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. The initial welcome from Claudia and the other staff was excellent. The cleanliness, beautiful big bedroom and everything we needed. We were leaving early and they left a tray with some breakfast snacks for us much appreciated.

Situated in the Misericordia district of Lisbon, Casa do Jasmim by Shiadu is at a short distance from attractions such as Bairro Alto and Liberty Avenue. The property is close to popular areas like Chiado and Rossio. Thé location was ideal. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They were always available. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Would recommend this to anyone! Would stay there again if I return to Lisbon. Thank you for the wonderful memories!!!
