From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional. The check-in process was smooth and hassle free. Haider is exceptional he took great care of me . The rooms were spotless, cozy, and beautifully maintained every little detail showed care and attention. The bed was very comfortable, and the amenities provided made my stay even more relaxing. The guest house’s location was perfect peaceful yet close to main attractions, cafes, and shops. What really stood out was the hospitality. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home, offering helpful local tips and ensuring everything I needed was available. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, served with genuine warmth. I highly recommend Northlander Guest House to anyone visiting the area. The guest house features family rooms. One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. Arsalan was an exceptional host and took great care of me during my stay. From the scrumptious green tea and cookie on arrival through to the unforgettable tours that he took me on with excellent value. And when I came down with food poisoning from a local eatery, he went over and above to ensure I was taken care of and nursed back to health. Furthermore, the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the WiFi was top notch for this region. Also the shower had excellent hot water and they have solar power so any local power outages will not disrupt you. They also have an additional cafe on site where you can enjoy local and international cuisine from their local chef. Skardu is an amazing place and if you have the opportunity to visit, there is no other place I recommend more because honestly Arsalan deserves to have this place booked out every night. I feel so privileged to have stayed here and meet such a gracious host and his lovely and warm family.

Price was reasonable. Hasibullah and his dad made sure we had a comfortable stay. They welcomed us with home grown fruits. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone. Also, Sanaullah who picked us and became our tour guide showed us the beautiful Skardu is highly recommended to be your guide as, he is a down to earth human with a great personality.

Everything was great! The garden was on spot 😍, big fresh cherries 🍒, apricot, mulberry, pears 🍐, and grapes 🍇. A stream of fresh water from sadpara lake flows just behind our guest house. Siraj bhai (the host) is so cooperative, you can literally tell him anything you want and you will get it, whether it’s taxi, or fresh cherry from garden, or food from a restaurant of your choice, or utensils for kitchen, or chair in your balcony, or barely cooked half-fry for your infant!! 🤯 🥰 The room has a shared kitchen that you can use for daily needs like making tea, or preparing baby food or preparing full meals (one family downstairs was literally cooking all meals for their family there) and you can get even juicer on-demand.

Modern and newly built guest house, ideally located In a quiet residential area right in Al Saba Chowk, a few minutes walk to the main road. Do not miss this gems in busy and often overpriced Gilgit, where competitors are mediocre and overpriced at best. Especially in the harsh winter season. 24 hours hot shower and decent Wifi available here. Ranked in my top 3 list of my semester in Pakistan's hotels. Anywhere else would be minimum and easily double price or matching here at least a 4 stars. From the modern luxury home style and elegant room decoration to the welcoming and friendly staff, adding a value to what is already the best option by far. Highly recommended.
