We loved our stay at Araw and even extended for two more nights. The location is perfect, it’s near the main street with restaurants, supermarkets, ATM and gas station, but still in a quiet area. The place was always kept clean and the common spaces were really nice. Since it’s a newer homestay, there are some minor things to be improved, such as keeping a stock of toilet paper and a drying rack covered from rain, specifically during the wet season. However, the host, John, made a huge difference, he was always very accommodating to our needs, gave us a lot of tips to explore the island (and even a discount for a nice cafe). He also rented cute scooters for a really good price.

Izustarri has exceeded our expectation. It was our favorite stay in Siargao, and the the team is very friendly and helpful. The two founders, Bohra and Daphne really know how to treat their guest and let them feel home. The north of Siargao has a different feeling to itself, it is more relaxed and lies in complete nature. Not to forget, the food is very good, maybe one of the best I have tried in Siargao. Lastly, the structure is perfect, it is situated on a cliff and surrounded by nature - the experience couldn't get better, especially while sleeping with open windows and hearing the waves crashing on the cliff. Importantly, drinks were also excellently made! thank you Izustarri and Team, we will most probably come back!
