400 metres from General Luna Beach, Araw Boutique is a recently renovated property located in General Luna and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The 4-star homestay features garden views and is 2.6 km from Malinao Beach. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. We loved our stay at Araw and even extended for two more nights. The location is perfect, it’s near the main street with restaurants, supermarkets, ATM and gas station, but still in a quiet area. The place was always kept clean and the common spaces were really nice. Since it’s a newer homestay, there are some minor things to be improved, such as keeping a stock of toilet paper and a drying rack covered from rain, specifically during the wet season. However, the host, John, made a huge difference, he was always very accommodating to our needs, gave us a lot of tips to explore the island (and even a discount for a nice cafe). He also rented cute scooters for a really good price.

Even though Camiguin itself was just okay for me, this place made the whole experience amazing. I stayed in the dorm – but it doesn’t feel like a typical dorm. You get a big, comfy bed in a big room, with plenty of personal space. There’s a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook your own meals – just buy groceries and you’re good to go. Save a lot of money The place is super clean – they clean constantly, probably more than needed! I also rented a motorbike from them in a good price and great condition. The location is right in front of the beach, about 10 minutes driving from town. But honestly, there’s not much to do in town anyway, so it’s not a big deal. Summary: If you’re coming to Camiguin – YOU HAVE TO STAY HERE!

It was amazingly clean, the location was perfect, the host was really nice and helpful, very convenient !

The host was very nice and got us some helpful recommendations. We came directly from the airport and stayed one night to visit the Sugba Lagoon and Pamomoan Beach. Just walk 10 minutes and you’ll find the boats.

The best part of our trip that we meet a family that treated as a family. I've traveled to many places around the world, including the Philippines, but this place stands out as the best. It truly felt like home, thanks to the genuine Filipino family hospitality I experienced.

The property features mountain and garden views, and is 46 km from Naked Island. The homestay features parking on-site, a pool with a view and luggage storage space. Amazing property with great use of space, simple design, tall ceilings. Very helpful to organise anything - food / drinks, yoga, transfers etc. very helpful. We had a wild storm and was great sitting on rooftop bar watching it with a delicious cocktail!
