We loved our stay at Araw and even extended for two more nights. The location is perfect, it’s near the main street with restaurants, supermarkets, ATM and gas station, but still in a quiet area. The place was always kept clean and the common spaces were really nice. Since it’s a newer homestay, there are some minor things to be improved, such as keeping a stock of toilet paper and a drying rack covered from rain, specifically during the wet season. However, the host, John, made a huge difference, he was always very accommodating to our needs, gave us a lot of tips to explore the island (and even a discount for a nice cafe). He also rented cute scooters for a really good price.

Located on the beachfront in Mambajao, Shey's Travellers Inn features a shared lounge. This homestay provides free private parking and a shared kitchen. The homestay has family rooms.

I highly recommend this hostel! The place is just perfect, real clean, the host and her family are so friendly, the beds are big and comfy, the kitchen is well equipped, the location is good. I already miss waking up and having my coffee while looking at the sea and hearing the waves... I would definitely book again if I come back to Camiguin ❤️

We stayed here recently and found it to be a great budget-friendly option, especially for such an expensive island. Compared to other places at the same price, this homestay stands out because it offers a kitchen and has good safety features. It’s not in the main tourist area, but it’s easy to get around with a motorbike, so the location worked well for us. That said, it might not be the best choice for older guests like our parents, who prefer everything more accessible. There’s no generator as expected from their property description, but we were prepared for that. The listing mentions potential noise from traffic and neighbors, but it was fairly quiet at night for us. Light sleepers or older guests might feel differently, though. Overall, it’s a great spot for young couples looking for value and a cozy stay!

Spotlessly clean! The room smell very good. Comfy bed, free toiletries, free refillable water. No moldy smell in the room (which is actually common in tropical areas). Great AC. The shower had a very strong pressure, the best so far we found in the Philippines. Staff extremely welcoming and willing to help. They let us check-in early and we could also stay one hour more after check out time. I can’t recommend this place enough! Don’t hesitate to book this place.

Wow. What a beautifull setting. Garden is absolutely stunning. Very large bathroom. Hot and cold shower. Nice room. No aircon BUT no problem whatsoever withbthe fan. We sleep very good. Also there was a kitchen and a nice sittingarea with fan. Only 2 minutes walk from the beach. The host was superfriendly, kind and very informative if we had questions. The price was very cheap if you c what we got. We stayed in another room on the island before and we paid almost double. Maybe because there is no aircon.
