The room was very spacious, quiet and clean. Hosts were very friendly and helped organise multiple tours for us. It is a decent 10min walk to the main area as we didn’t hire a bike but very doable.

A gorgeous spot, especially in the mornings and during low tide. They DO HAVE WIFI, and it's an excellent one. On Booking it says no wifi, and they should really change that, as it's a deal breaker for many. My cozy, clean and spacious room opened up to the lovely rustic covered seafront terrace with rustic tables and chairs, a sunbeds and some hammocks. So chilled and nice. It reminded me so much about good old time Philippine travelling. Hard to find these places these days. It's worth to note that they have 2 entries on booking.com, so if you fall in love with the look of the terrace, but want a better room, then type JRM place in the search box and the 2nd entry appears with better, but not much more expensive rooms. The rustic place that appears first, has better rating, maybe because those rooms attracts a different clientel! Excellent location close to the bus stop and 7 eleven. Cold drinks for sale in the evening. BYO anything else. I didn't come to Oslob for the controversial whale sharks, but because there is so much else you can see on easy day trips. Buses are frequent and habal habals are so organized from the junctions to tourist sights, with fair fixed prices posted up. I ended up extending my stay, as it was so much to see.
