A trip to French Polynesia, specifically to Rangiroa, was the trip of a lifetime for me. I had studied and researched it dozens of times before departure. I found this property on Google Maps, though information was scarce. I chose it primarily for its location - close to the ocean and not far from Tiputa Pass. I found paradise. And I wasn't expecting it. Paradise is, first and foremost, the family that hosted me: Christian and his wife. Two exceptional people - kind, welcoming, but never intrusive. They opened recently and are pouring all their energy and savings into growing this property. Currently 5 rooms right on the lagoon, with a private beach adjacent to the famous Kia Ora hotel. See my attached photos. Please note: the room is simple, Polynesian-style. If you want five-star luxury, this is NOT the place for you. But it has everything you need and more - air conditioning (extremely rare in lodges), microwave, fresh drinking water, refrigerator, etc. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom simple but functional with hot water available 24/7. With only 5 rooms, it's likely difficult to find availability. In my opinion, write directly to Christian - I think he'll help you book. On Sundays in Rangiroa, everything is closed - supermarkets, restaurants. I didn't know this. I asked the owners for advice. Shortly after, they appeared with a tray containing a wonderful two-course lunch. I had to insist on contributing to the cost. Rangiroa is wonderful. But it's thanks to Hinamoe Lodge that it became a dream.

Amazing house on excellent location, close to everything from diving, kayaking,...to Tahiti dance performances🤩❣️ We were diving with dolphins at Rangiorora dive center which was amazing as well as the trip to Blue lagoon. The owner is very kind, helpful, she speaks good English and can organize you everything.

We had a wonderful time at Fare Bleu! There’s a beautiful lagoon right in front of the house, bicycles to explore the area, and above all, the host Emmanuelle, who is incredibly kind and helpful. We would definitely come back!

On the ocean side which brings ocean breeze! Relief from heat and mosquitoes! Beautiful view, relaxing. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped bungalows. Great coffee! Walking distance to shops and restaurants and takeaways. Bring a torch for walking back at night. 2 minutes walk to the lagoon. Bikes for hire close by but Pierre and Motire are happy to help out transport wise if you need a lift somewhere or want to go further afield. They were great hosts. Their place is close to the Tiputa diving pass, where you can also watch dolphins jumping. Sunrise on the ocean side and incredible sunsets on the lagoon side. And don’t forget to look up at the stars. Incredible. I can highly recommend this place.

The hosts, Vaitia and Yvhan, were warm, helpful and supportive. They organised the transfers to Tiputa, and picked me up after the taxi boat ride. I was given a tour of the village, shown the location of the supermarkets and routes to use when hiring the bikes. This all really helped to provide a relaxed and enjoyable stay on a more remote, holiday destination. They also were well connected to the tourist sector on Rangiroa. Vaimoe Lodge Tiputa faces out to the sea, and has a lovely terrace where you can relax, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the view of the waves breaking on the reef. It’s located away from any tourist hubs, and its set up is simple, clean, spacious and comfortable. I had the meals prepared by the hosts, which were delicious. The bike hire was very handy and fun. There is a lovely sense of community on Tiputa, and the people were friendly, kind and patient.

Great place! We stayed in the apartment that would be comfortable for long stays as well. Fully furnished, very well equipped and super functional. The bed was super comfortable. The huge terrace with a view where we spent most of the time. Henry was amazing host! Going above everything we expected.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at POE Guesthouse in Rangiroa! 🌴 Both Poe & Hinano were incredibly kind and welcoming, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience on the island. We even got to enjoy a beautiful Tahitian dance performance, which made our stay feel extra special and authentic. 🌺💃🏽 What impressed us most was the care and effort in helping us organize our trip — the host managed to get us on the Blue Lagoon tour at the very last moment, just the night before! This made our visit unforgettable, and we are so thankful for the support and warm hospitality. The atmosphere of the guesthouse is relaxed, friendly, and truly feels like home. We stayed in a triple room with shared bathroom. It was great ! The room was simple but nice. The bathrooms were clean. The location right by the beach is a plus. They have their own small private beach. The bungalows looked nice as well. I would have booked those one, but they were already full. The triple room comes with shared kitchen that has all the basic necessities to cook something. The pension is 15 min by walk from the airport and max 3 min by walk from the supermarket.
