We had a great stay at Tema’e Beach House and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxed accommodation with the opportunity to meet wonderful people from around the world. The owner, Nick, was always helpful and offered great suggestions and tips for our time in Moorea. The shared bathroom and kitchen with other guests were always incredibly clean, and everyone was respectful of the communal spaces. The location is ideal, with Tema’e Beach just a short walk away. However, I would also recommend renting a car to explore the island fully (I suggest Coco Rider for great prices on electric cars). There are also several additional services available at the house for a very reasonable cost, including laundry, snorkeling equipment rental, and transfers to and from the ferry terminal. Each unit is fitted with air conditioning, a private bathroom and a well-fitted kitchen including an oven, microwave, toaster and a fridge. Kitchenware is also featured, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the homestay, the units are fitted with bed linen and towels. We liked everything. The location is ideal. Gated community, directly on the ocean, the pool and deck overlook the water, access to a kitchen with (light) breakfast provided. The owners live on the property and they are very helpful. The room is very comfortable in the air conditioning works perfect. The owners provide kayaks and Herker. There is snorkeling just off the property a short paddle away. This is a fantastic homebase to see Moorea. I would recommend this over any hotel on the island.

This is the best place to stay in Moorea ! The entire house is very clean, quiet. People are respectful. I felt really like home. You have everything you need to cook, do your laundry. Less than 20min walk to the Tipaniers Beach, 10min walk to a convenient store.

Featuring pool with a view and views of mountain, Fare Haurevaiti Moorea is a recently renovated homestay located in Paopao, 9 km from Moorea Green Pearl Golf Course. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Each room is fitted with a patio with pool views. Gorgeous views of the surrounding area. We had our own bathroom. The place was very clean. Sarah, the host, was super helpful and gave so many good recommendations for things to do. No AC, but this was no issue. Never felt too hot or muggy. 10/10 would recommend.

There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The guest house features family rooms. The hosts were very kind and patient with me, as it was my first time in Mo'orea. I felt very well taken care of, safe (solo female traveler), and like I was part of the family. It was a perfect balance of time to recharge alone in my room, and also socialize in the common areas and get to know the hosts as well as other travelers. I loved their sweet dogs too. I would definitely come back. Highly recommend.

The hosts were very helpful and they spoke English which was great. We loved their welcome to us and the sharing of their family and cultural history. The pool was lovely and the ice-cream shop I minute away was a bonus. Alex’s dive trip was fantastic and not to be missed.

The location was amazing. Whike snorkling from the property, I saw turtles, a leopard ray, and a few sharks (they are not dangerous). They lent me snorkling gear for free. Easy to access. Markets and restaurants close by and Elodie and Renaud gave me great information on good places to eat at and to see on the island. It's right next to the best public beach on the island in my opinion. Sunset was right over the tip of the island making for great fading light. The family was super nice, starting with Renaud and Elodie. They made my stay a breeze. I would recommend it to anyone.
