I had a really special stay, dare I say a spiritual experience on the 8th of the 8th. Communication with Jose Louis and family was great from beginning to end, there were enough activities offered to make the most of the time, with also opportunities for peaceful solo time. Pilan’s cooking is incredible. Highlights were the sunset from the mountain, joining in the community dancing and fire ceremonies in the plaza and just the general chats with the family around the dinner table with the other guests. I felt so welcomed, warm and at ease - this was my home away from home for a night, I wish I could’ve stayed longer. It takes special kind of people to make you feel this was so thank you Jose Louis and Pilan and family for welcoming us to your beautiful home.

Food was amazing and more than enough! If you come to puno you have to spend a night here!!

The room and the bathroom in such a good shape and new condition! Super clean and most importantly very nice and hot shower(had to wait few mins tho until it warms up). You might think you are far away from the central but there is a minivan that cost 1 soles takes you straight to central part within less than 10 mins and it comes so frequently that you will never have to wait! Big plus for letting us stay without a problem in the place for the whole full day (as we had to get the bus at night to Cusco). Very quiet location!

The shower was hot and the breakfast and dinner was delicious! Yuspagara!

Featuring a private entrance, the homestay allows guests to maintain their privacy. Really great location, just a few minutes from the main plaza. The bedroom was big and the bed really comfortable. It was really clean. The staff was nice and accommodated us with a late check in. Really great breakfast too. Best quality/price

Set in Puno, near Bus Station and San Antonio Church, MADA GUEST HOUSE Hs is a recently renovated property, featuring, a terrace and shared lounge. It is located 1.1 km from Plaza de Armas Puno and offers a concierge service. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. The main thing which was very important they let us check in at 5 am in the morning instead of afternoon as our bus arrived at 4.30 am. Staff is nice, rooms are clean and modern, there's hot water and early breakfast. Close to the bus station and city center Thanks a lot!

Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a water park. The homestay features family rooms. Nicanor and his family were so inviting! They communicated well with us ahead of time with the location of pickup for their water taxi service. We met them at a dock, they loaded our luggage and away we went to their floating island. We had a huge room with one kingsize bed and three queen sized beds! They told us to choose anyone we wanted. The room also had large windows with a lake view and a balcony with chairs overlooking the water. The family made us tea, hot chocolate and coffee in their little restaurant, and a fabulous supper! The little boy showed me how to use every toy in the gift shop. We had pre-booked our tours before arriving, and Nicanor went above and beyond with our company to have us picked up at his island instead of waking up early going back to Puno, and than right back out to Uros again.
