I was bitten by a dog one evening and the owner offered to drive me to the hospital that night (didn't end up doing that), but then he brought me to the local clinic in the morning and helped explain what happened since we didnt have much Spanish. Extremely grateful for that! Otherwise the place itself was nice too - comfy beds and a spacious room. Breakfast was decent in the morning too. They also allowed us to make a couple.of sandwiches in the evening to bring with us on a tour the following day since we were leaving very early.

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Central Climbing Hostel is a recently renovated guest house set in Huaraz, 2.4 km from Estadio Rosas Pampa. The property has garden and city views. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. This hostel was everything I needed and more when I was looking for a rest. It was so chilled out, the staff honestly were so helpful with anything I needed. They organised one of my tours for me, the breakfast was decent, the kitchen was great and the value for a private room was unbelievable. Also my night bus was at 10pm and they let me keep my room after check out until then.
