I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel in Nizwa, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, Adnan, the host, made us feel right at home with his warm hospitality and attention to detail. His knowledge of the area was incredibly helpful, offering us great recommendations for local sights and activities. The hotel itself was beautifully designed, with a perfect mix of traditional Omani charm and modern comforts. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night after a day of exploring. Breakfast was a delight, with a variety of local dishes and international options that catered to all tastes. The hotel’s location is also fantastic – it’s close to the historic Nizwa Fort and the local souq, making it an ideal base for sightseeing. If you are looking for an experience, not just a place to sleep, this guesthouse is a must. It's a traditional mud house with an authentic design, frankincense aroma, and an ultra-hospitable host who told us all about the area and great places to visit. There is a nice rooftop where you can chill and drink tea. The village where it's located is also charming. Despite this house being old, it is very comfortable to stay in, all the amenities are there. The bed was comfortable, the water hot, the room was exceptionally clean

We had a wonderful stay at Ahmed’s guest house. Ahmed is an exceptional host — welcoming, generous, and passionate about sharing the beauty of his village and his country. Despite it being the low season, he greeted us warmly and made us feel truly at home. He took the time to share fascinating stories about the history of the area, his traditional Omani house (over 200 years old!), and his beautiful farm and fruit fields. He also gave us plenty of helpful tips and recommendations about things to see and do in the region and across Oman.
