We arrived before the official check-in time, and he kindly let us park our car and leave some of our belongings in the room while he was still finishing the cleaning, which allowed us to take the train into Wellington City Centre without any hassle. We only stayed for one night, but it was truly the perfect stopover!

We liked the ambiance, the birdsong and surrounding environment, its proximity to local amenities, it's quiet, private, with off street parking. We both slept all the way through the night which is rare when staying away from home. Shower was great. We had everything we needed, including information about local eateries.
