The owners are friendly, welcoming and communicate everything important in advance.

We had full use of her kitchen. Great sunsets. The house was set right on the harbour so we were able to go out the garden right into the harbour for a swim. A real treat!

The property features quiet street views and is 28 km from Northland Event Centre and 28 km from Town Basin Marina. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The unit is spacious and stylishly decorated. They provided everything you ever needed. The property and the unit is impeccably cleaned and fully equipped. You will not fall short of anything. They even provided you weetbix and porridge sachets. Very thoughtful. The amenities provided are of superior quality, they are not a bar of soap wrapped in plastic or shampoo in a small tube, they are all higher-grade products. Quite generous. The bed, sheets, linens, towels, and pillows are at their best. I had the best sleep ever. The view from the unit, which is on the hill, was stunning. The pictures shown at booked dot com are exactly what they are. Better in reality. Veronique, our host, is hospitable and welcoming. The two dogs, CoCo and Loki, are so kind, energetic, and playful. They guarded us around and didn’t make any disturbing noise at all. In all, it was a great stay. Thank you for offering such a wonderful place on Booking dot com.

Set in Mangawhai in the Northland region, Chalet Cullen, features a garden. This property offers access to a balcony, darts, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 1.8 km from Mangawhai Heads Beach. Even though we only had a single overnight stay at Chalet Cullen, we must say it’s on our top ten experiences of what we have had during our 6 weeks vacation in New Zealand. The unit was fine and cozy, and with a great view to the beach. The local radio station (FM 90.4) plays pop/rock from the good old days. What’s not to like. We can only give our best recommendations.

Situated within 1 km of Long Beach and 400 metres of Christ church, Bellrock Lodge features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Russell. This 5-star guest house offers full-day security and luggage storage space. There is a barbecue and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. We liked Bellrock Lodge and this little village so much, we even extended our stay! :) It is worth staying longer in Kororareka Russell and especially at Bellrock Lodge, so let us tell you why: Bellrock Lodge is situated on a little hill (if you walk, there are a few steep meters) and because of that, you will have the most amazing views from your terrace over the coast. On clear days you will even see as far as Waitangi. The apartment and the terrace are quite spacious, even the bathroom offers more than usual space in rental properties. It is very nice equipped. The garden is beautiful so you also see beautiful garden greenery from the terrace. The hosts Catherine and Stuart are very kind and responded fast via WhatsApp. Their sweet dog Piper was also a great host and excited to offer play time with her favorite football and such :D Catherine and Stuart were always very hospitable, so for instance, if you get in a morning rain like us, getting new towels is easy peasy, just a message/call away ;-) The Lodge offers great amendities: laundry, dryer, DVD Library (great selection, we loved it), CD and Book Library aswell... To top it off, the Whirlpool and BBQ area are great, with superb views also. We loved to enjoy the Spa, especially on rainy days. In addition to that, we highly appreciated how thoughtful everything is equipped, there are umbrellas in the driveway, wineglasses from plastic for the Spa, different chairs (even comfy reading/TV chairs), more than 2 different towel sizes and many more things like that.. We have travelled a lot and Bellrock Lodge is one of our favorites. You nearly forget, that you are at a self-service accomendation because everything is so thoughtfully done. It is worth staying longer, you can experience a lot in the area, walk to the beaches from Bellrock if you want to, get groceries and have great restaurants/cafés in town.

The air-conditioned accommodation is 21 km from Opua Forest, and guests can benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is situated 4.7 km from Kemp House and Stone Store. Absolutely loved staying here , so cozy and warm. The little details make a big difference. It was pouring with rain when we got there and the host pre heated it for us can't thank you enough.

New, modern and clean, it was a perfect spot for a getaway. Kate was friendly, greeting us as we arrived and had lots of tips about exploring the area.
