Clean and tidy with comfortable bed and brilliant heating (hot water radiators). Eclectic collection of NZ books to read are an added bonus. WiFi was excellent. Contactless (our request, because of medical issues on our part) worked well for us, the hosts are on site but unobtrusive.

Carol was a great host and made sure we felt at home. Breakfast was continental with 3 different types of cereal and other amenities. We would detour out of our way to stay here again! Even got a spot in the garage for my rental car...can't beat that! Great value for the price.

Where do i start.....Location: up a valley just off Durie hill, lovely quiet street, easy parking right outside. Really close to town. Access/Host: very easy access,straight in via well communicated lockbox process. Met our lovely host upon arrival and welcomed. Other than that we had complete privacy and peace, happy in the knowledge our host was just a call or text away. The Sanctuary: very spacious with everything we wanted and so much more: everything you would have in your own home (minus the junk🤣) 8 seat table, couches, games,books, sky tv on big flat-screen. 2 very comfy big beds, top quality linen and towels. Big modern bathroom, great shower pressure. HT rail. Big fridge, nespresso machine with pods, etc etc etc.... Marmite and vegemite even ! Definitely in my saved list for future visits.
