Our host worked hard to connect with us, and to make our stay a good one. He had to balance caring for each of the people staying there. And, of course, he has his own family he must not ignore. The breakfasts he makes for us are varied, healthy, simple, but tasty. The location was perfect. We lived in a real neighborhood, which meant the dogs barked, there were sometimes odd neighbor noises, construction here and there, but everything eventually quieted down at night. I didn't fit into the house very well. I am tall and getting older, and I think it's an environment that works for the young and slightly more compact person. But, I still loved it just the same. I'd certainly stay there again if in Patan.

Peace homestay is a comfortable and peaceful place to stay in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. The location is great, walking distance from Thamel. Nir and his wife are amazing hosts and will make you feel at home. The place has a good mixture of Privacy in your room, with the opportunity to interact with the hosts and other guests. Highly recommend!

Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The best homestay I've ever stayed in.. Prem and his family are the greatest people I've met in Nepal ( and I mean it!!). You will have an opportunity to stay with many locals and share about their culture. A lot of cute kids were always playing around, so the place was really lively. The food was excellent and the room & bathroom were sparkling clean! The village of Namobuddha is very authentic and the scenery stunning. If you're lucky enough, you will also have the opportunity to meet Ian who lives there and runs a charity association to provide water pipelines for remote villages. Trust me, go there ...that's the kind of place you will never forget.

I stayed in Nirvana Kuti following the recommendation of Linda, a wonderful woman that I met in Delhi airport. She was indeed accurate: Nirvana Kuti is such a beautiful accomodation, comfortable, clean and pretty new. It was easy to feel home. Besides the comfort of the room, with a big, warm bed, with views to the temple just in front of the house, it is located just a few steps from Durbar square, in a very calm street. I slept extremely well and woke up to the beautiful views. Life is magical and I met Bobby, the owner of Nirvana Kuti, even before my stay. He kindly offered me a ride to Nirvana Kuti, and he made it very easy for me to feel home. Even more, he also allowed me to stay a bit longer because my bus was leaving in the evening. I appreciate Bobby's kindness and the beautiful taste in which the house is built. It is both comfortable and stylish, and the location couldn't be better. Thank you Bobby for making of my last days in Kathmandu (for this time) a beautiful experience and see you next time ♡

The property has quiet street views and is 200 metres from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and 12 km from Patan Durbar Square. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Look no further...you've found the best place to stay in Baktapur!! Navin is the greatest host that I've met in Nepal. Even though the building might seems a bit tatty at first sight, the room is super clean and comfy. With clean bedsheets and clean bathroom as well. You will meet a bunch of smiley people in that building and cute kids going to school. I also had the best breakfast in Nepal, simple but delicious. I am a woman travelling on my own and I felt perfectly safe there. The view from the rooftop is just incredible and the location in Baktapur can't be better! You're just one minute from Durbar square. Navin is also a trekking guide if you want to hike in the valleys around Baktapur's area. He can also give you a tour in this beautiful town. That's the kind of homestay I HIGHLY recommend!! Hope to be back there very soon.

It is set 20 km from Pashupatinath and offers bicycle parking. Free private parking is available and the homestay also provides car hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. it’s very calm and next to the forest, short walk from the waterfall and the suspension bridge! maybe a bit far from nagarkot town but you can take a walk or a bus/taxi so no problem. very lovely owner and family, felt very comfortable also the treehouse was superb and super clean. i definitely recommend staying there

The location was great! 10 minute walk to Swayambhunath. It was quiet at night. The host was a wonderful gentleman. I had spent 3 months in Nepal and my last two nights were at this spot. If I’m lucky enough to be able to visit Kathmandu again I’ll certainly stay here.
