It was very central, so easy to walk everywhere and I enjoyed the older architecture. The staff was incredibly helpful, allowing us to check in a couple hours early and giving us great suggestions on what to experience. I appreciated the ease of communication through WhatsApp, sending check-in instructions the day before and being available anytime during the stay if we had questions.

I originally booked the room with the shared bathroom (it was always clean and only shared with one other room). Due to becoming ill I asked if I could switch to a room with a private bathroom and pay the extra, this was arranged very quickly and the team even offered to get me medicine if i needed it. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

What a difference a staff that actually cares can make. This is a small place with only a few rooms that has not been renovated to cram as many beds as possible in tiny box rooms for maximum profit, but a very chill home with a great vibe and staff that make you feel like part of the family. King Arthur was so helpful and sweet during our stay. The free breakfast changed everyday and always some great local food, not just butter/toast/jam (which is also available 24/7) And of course the cats were sweet and nice to play with, and if you let them, they will sleep in your room with you to enjoy the AC. They had a groupchat to let everyone know what events were happening in town and recommendations for food or day trips. And as many would like to know, soft comfortable mattress and hot water!

The key card entry is a nice touch. It's a little way out of the main tourist areas but Grab is readily available so not really an issue. Highly recommended.
