The Cabins are lovely and spacious; you can keep and cook your food there and have access to board games. The hosts, Pamela and Ernesto, are super kind and helpful. This is by far one of the best places we have stayed in Mexico.

The boho decor is stunning — every detail feels intentional, airy, and beautifully curated. The entire property is spotless, and the rooms feel both luxurious and soothing in that modern-bohemian way. The location is quiet and peaceful, the perfect escape from the busier parts of town while still being close enough to walk everywhere. I slept so well here. The host was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond with thoughtful recommendations for beaches, restaurants, and hidden local spots I never would have found on my own. It made the whole stay feel personal and elevated. If you’re looking for a stylish, serene, and warm place to stay in Mexico, Casa Alkimia is perfect. I can’t wait to come back.

Facing the beachfront in Bacalar, Agave-Blue has a garden. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Location was amazing ❤️ we get the small bungalow on a site and it had everything we needed, also air con! We could use paddle boards or kayaks for free.

Absolutely amazing stay at Casa Mech - we saw the reviews and thought we have to see for ourselves if it's so exceptional, but it really was! We had a warm welcome even though we arrived later in the evening - Mauricio gave us all information and recommended some top places to visit at the island. The Casa is a designer piece - stylish, always clean but also super comfortable. We loved the rooms, the bathroom, we slept like babies and in the morning we drank a freshly made coffee on the roof terrace of the hotel. We felt really at home there. The island itself is such nice place to be as well, with cool bars, cafes, restaurants and experiences to have.
