I decided to upgrade and rent the larger apartment instead of the studio and it was the best decision. Fernando the host was extremely accommodating, professional and helpful. This location is super ideal if you plan on walking, the beach is only a few minutes away by foot and there are so many restaurants and bars in the area.

We discovered this hotel in December, and just came back for another stay in September. We had the most basic room with shared bathroom (cleaned 3 times a day) which is right outside the room and very comfortable for only 25 USD a night. There’s also a large communal kitchen, we didn’t cook but it’s right near a grocery store so if you are looking to stay on a budget it’d be easy. The hotel is a 2 min walk to the beach, it’s right off the center square, tons of restaurants… you can’t get a better location! On some nights and mornings there’s a little artisanal market on the square, very cute. Someone was at reception when we arrived but it was possible to check in after hours also - they sent me detailed codes and instructions in advance. Ample street parking and they had a little lot too. Only 20 min from airport. Highly recommend, we will be back!

The host is super helpful and friendly. I nearly loss my bag with passport and they found it for me, also give me some travel advice. They mostly reply timely on WhatsApp. The location is also very nice, close to bus terminal. Bike rental is 150mxn per day, so you can ride the bike to Tulum ruins.
