Situated in Maafushi, 400 metres from Bikini Beach, Island Ambience features accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also has a family-friendly restaurant and a terrace. The guest house has family rooms. The staff is very welcome and always willing to help, from the booking of the boat to get to the island, to help you with the luggage and even preparing the breakfast to takeaway so we can take it to our activities. The bed, bathroom and furniture were in very good condition and there was a clothes horse to dry your stuff which is very convenient in Maldives. I cannot think of any significant issue and the room and service were definitely very good for the price paid.

The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Hassan is a great host, always helpful and kind. The facilities are clean, the food is great (especially breakfasts), and the activities offered by the property were fun. A little side story - we were on a NYE celebration at another resort, and the situation got pretty bad when a heavy rain started after 12 AM. The guy who sold us the tickets, from Karon Beach Hotel, (seemingly) didn't give a damn about us, and it was Hassan who helped us (a group of 15 people) go back to Dhiffushi at his own expense. What a great guy!

Wilam and Oskan are two lovely people who always greeted us with a smile, together with their excellent service.

The food was awesome and best prices. Free brekkie was amazing and the free welcome dinner was a nice surprise and tasty. The snorkelling deals were the best on the island and were fantastic. 🦈 Thank you so much for the amazing stay and all the facilities were incredible, like free coffee and tea all day, for the affordable price of my stay. I came here for 3 nights as a solo female traveler and it was perfect. The room is good size and very very clean. There is AC, TV, wifi, and breakfast included. They give you 2 towels, shower gel, shampoo, coffee, water. You can book the speedboat from Male’ airport through them (it should be 25$) and then they pick you up at the harbor. The bikini beach it’s just like 3/4 mins away. The owner, Latif, is a really nice man and he made me feel at home preparing breakfast every morning for me and helping me with any questions I had. I also booked the excursions through Latif (swimming with nurse sharks and sea turtles, both highly recommended). Plus, i texted them a lot the weeks prior asking many questions since i was a little bit anxious as it was my first time doing an experience like this alone and they gave me all the informations i needed. The island itself is beautiful but this guest house made the experience much better for sure. Thank you Latif and the team for the wonderful costumer service! Tip: if you want to buy souvenirs I recommend you to go to “Felice shop”. The owner is most of the time in front of this guest house and he is a really good person that also speaks so many languages, he is really nice to talk to and maybe ask some advices in your language!
