We had no idea what to expect but we had an amazing stay and would love to visit again. The hosts were amazing! The food was above what I expected. It was really delicious and such big portions. Each time they asked if we wanted anything else. I would have wanted loads of everything because it tastes so good, but we were stuffed haha! Big portions. Beforehand I was a bit worried about having all allergy and eating by vegetarian. It turned out to be zero issues. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed the seating area. There was a fire on and we played games and relaxed. The area is also great for hiking. Also because we had a bit of issues getting cashed. We inquired if we could pay in euros. Also no problem.

Our host looked after us very well. All the food was home cooked, with a lot of it grown by our host. This was some of the best food we ate during our holiday. I would highly recommend Le Chene d’Azrou and thank you again to our wonderful host, Sofia.

The breakfast was great and the room cosy. We recommend it 10/10 as a stop from desert to Fes.

Rooms at Le Palais have panoramic views of the cedar forest and feature an LCD TV with satellite channels. Each is air-conditioned and some have leather armchairs. Everything about this hotel says 'quality'. From first checking in with the lovely guy on reception, everything was wonderful. Our room was immaculately prepared, the shower, excellent. The bar/restaurant was run by lovely attentive people, dinner was fantastic with a beautiful sunset view, and breakfast was amazing. We didn't use the pool or spa facilities, but they also looked immaculately clean. The location is very close to the Cedar forest, where you can take pony rides and see the monkeys. For us, this is a must stay place when visiting Morocco.
