I can't say enough great things about this homestay! They arranged our transfer from Ella and arranged a morning and afternoon safari for us. We were greeted with a delicious cold coconut water, in the coconut. We chose the breakfast and dinner option which makes so much sense because the town is a bit of a walk and after a safari all day (4:30 am to 6:30 pm) it is great to have dinner at the homestay. Both dinners we had were excellent, I think the best food we've had in Sri Lanka! They also pack a breakfast to go on your safari day because of leaving so early. When you wake up they have coffee and bananas for you before leaving. Our room was a great size, ac and hot water worked well. The owners are very kind, friendly and even drove us to the bus stop, stayed with us and made sure we got on the right bus. I highly recommend Tissa Rainbow for your stay while exploring Yala National Park, you won't regret it!

My hosts couldn’t have made me feel any more welcome. They are kind and generous. As a single female traveller I felt very secure in their compound. I strongly advice you book your safari with your host. He’s a confident driver with a keen eye for leopards. Don’t think saving money will serve you well, take a private tour. The guest house is situated close to the park and near to the road the dissects the park. Take an evening safari on the road if you can. The accommodation is very clean. I found it hard to leave these lovely people.

I had an amazing stay with Priya! If you are searching for a host that goes far and beyond to make your stay perfect and feeling comfortable, you really need to stay here! He picked me up at the bus station, went with me in the evening on a lagoon safari, his wife made the perfect dinner (you can choose from a diverse menu), arranged a perfect early morning safari (and even woke up to make coffee/tea and some snacks!) And afterwards brought me to the bus to Tangalle and even put me on the bus! Thank you so much for this experience Priya and family! ☺️
