We like the people, especially the manager Inbaraj, who is a great and kind man. He showed us the cinnamon plantations and explained how everything is used, he was so kind. We liked the dinner, the best chicken curry we tried so far in Sri Lanka, also there was a desert, we liked a lot. The room was clean, sanitized, everything was great, the view from our room was great. Mr. Inbaraj also treat us with the best papaya juice, coffee and the plantation harvests. We are so grateful and happy that we choose this place for our stay in Yala. The place is also near the Yala park, which was great as well.

The owners were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. They prepared a delicious breakfast and snacks for our early morning safari, which was really thoughtful. We also had an amazing tuk-tuk tour around the lake, where we saw crocodiles, water buffalos, various birds, and thousands of fruit bats—such an incredible experience! On top of that, they added a special touch by decorating our bed beautifully for our honeymoon, which made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Tissamaharama!

The cabanas are very adventurous, offering a fantastic view of the lake: if you're lucky you can spot a few crocodiles swimming around! There's no danger and it's very peaceful.☺️ The rooms are simple and tasteful. The hammock is bliss! There isn't any hot water but that's not a problem at all. We only had lunch and the kottu was very, very tasty. They can recommend a safari tour-Janaka- and it was professional and fun.

Well located if you are visiting Yala national park. The place was very clean. We loved the common area. The accommodation offers full-day security, luggage storage space and organising tours for guests. Everything was perfect. The location is just amazing, next to rice fields and impressive landscape. The family is super nice and welcoming, especially Adi treated us super well! His father is an artist that has decorated all the hotel and that also works the rice fields. They packed us the breakfast early in the morning when we had to leave for the safari, even if we have not arranged it with them. They gave us a delicious welcoming juice and a lot of fresh fruit during our stay. The room was very big, clean and comfortable. There was also place to park our tuktuk in the yard. We spend an extranight there because it was the best homestay we had been to in Sri Lanka! You can also take bikes for free to go and see the fruit bats at dawn. Dinners were delicious and non spicy!!! At last we found non spicy food in Sri Lanka! And everything for an unbeatable price.
