We had the best breakfast in Sri Lanka here and the buffet dinner is very very good.

Very calm place surrounded by nature, very clean and delicious local food! They arranged the half day safari for us with a breakfast in a private place in the park which was great! The family is the most adorable, we really felt home! We even had the opportunity to learn how to cook sri lankan with them😍 The son is the one who imagined and created the cottage which makes it even a better place. They give all their heart to it! We were sad leaving this place! Thank you for everything & we hope to come back to see you all soon!

The home cooked food was one of the best and served so beautifully. We loved our room, the garden for yoga, the rooftop for relaxing, the location close to the baby elephant orphans station, and also the massages from Shani!!! I even went in two days for a total of 3,5h of massages. Honestly I can just warmly recommend you to stay there, you will have all you need and even more for an amazing Udawalawe experience and you can book Safari and straight with the owner, they can organise everything for you. Accessible via private entrance, all units have air conditioning, soundproofing, desk and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is a seating and a dining area in all units. At the homestay, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. My stay at this place was absolutely spectacular. The food was incredibly delicious — authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. Every meal was a highlight. I highly recommend it.

The outside shower was wonderful with a cascade of water to wash in.The dinner was fabulous, really authentic Sri Lankan vegetarian food which was beautifully presented. It was my favourite breakfast on my trip so far and I stayed in a couple of 5 star expensive places. Like the dinner it was more of an authentic Sri Lankan breakfast. So far my favourite accomodation out of 6 in Sri Lanka. 100% recommended!

The guest house features family rooms. Nice tent house, really friendly and welcoming hosts. We were greated by a welcome drink, the family cooked us a really nice 4 curry dinner. They also helped us organise a safari trip and gave us a king coconut on our way out. We really enjoyed our stay and the whole experience. Highly recommend.
