Our host was very nice and helpful. He arranged the rental of bicycles to visit the temple, he gave us information to take the bus and good advice to find local restaurants. The location is very convenient, close to shops, restaurants and now far from the temples. The room was very clean and quiet. We thank you for the very nice stay :)

perfect location! ride to the ancient city is absolutely gorgeous and you can use the bicycle they have. hosts were super friendly, helpful and showed me around. really would recommend this place. breakfast was tasty and a lot. they even made me a lunch package.

It rained almost without stopping during our stay at Lake Cabin. However we had a happy time in the care of our excellent host who made us welcome and helped us find an excellent local place to eat as well as arranging a tour of the lake where we saw several elephants. There were good choices for breakfast. The lake view from the veranda was stunning with so many birds.

I stayed in some guesthouses in the same price range throughout Sri Lanka, and the water pressure and temperature of the shower were the best I have ever had. The room was bright, spacious and clean. The air conditioning works well. The owners were kind and helpful. And we appreciated the free bottles of water and hiring of a scooter from here to get around the world heritage sites. The location was also very convenient, close to restaurants, heritage sites and bus stops.
