This was the best property we stayed in during our trip in Sri Lanka. Very modern and clean with a big comfortable bed and amazing shower. The hosts are beautiful people. The lady is an artist and her beautiful art work is up in the room! She’s also lovely and always smiling. The gentleman was very attentive and helpful. They were happy to do our laundry and ironed our clothes as and when we needed them doing. The location is perfect with the sea just opposite the hotel. Would 100% recommend this place and stay here again! Thank you so much ☺️

And the walk there Is beautiful!The hosts were very kind and lovely and even helped me plan my bus route up to ella! I highly recommend and was sad to leave!

What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. We stayed in the small room attached to the main house; it was perfect for us! The bathroom was sooo beautiful haha it was like an outdoor shower surrounded by rocks (pictures on the listing don’t do it justice!!). The bed was super comfy and the AC worked great! It was so nice to come back to the cool space after a day in the heat. Make sure you keep the bathroom door closed or else the mosquitoes will find their way in! The kitchen we were able to use was great and had everything we needed. Lovely family running the place as well. Location was also really nice, jungle beach is close and there’s a nice restaurant next door. Would definitely recommend!!

Massive comfy bed, fantastic wet room/bathroom. No real hot water but that was no issue. No air-con but the ceiling fans are really effective so was no issue at all. We were even allowed into to the family kitchen for a Sri Lankan cooking lesson
