I was supposed to stay for 5 days, but I ended up extending to 3 weeks — and honestly, I would’ve stayed even longer if I could have. Charitha goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are comfortable and happy. He often organizes meals, snacks, and drinks (his wife is an amazing cook!). He’s super responsive on WhatsApp if you have any questions or concerns, and he’s always genuinely happy to help. He is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met and a true example of Sri Lankan hospitality. The facilities themselves were excellent — I have no complaints at all. The location is also perfect: surrounded by restaurants, cafés, and boutiques, and just a couple of minutes from the beach. I would go back in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor and book your next stay with them!

We are a family of 4 with a 5 yr old girl and 2 year old boy. We rented the large family suite and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Less then 5 mins from the beach, large comfortable double beds with mosquito nets, a shared kitchenette, large comfortable bathroom with hot water and AC. The owners were such lovely accommodating people. The best part was the location. Hiritekiya is an Instagramy digital nomady hotspot, and Jungle Escape is located in the less developed part of the beach. So we were close to everything but in a more tranquil environment.
