Highly recommend a hike up the stairs to the summit too despite the $35 USD entrance fee.

The beach in front is not for swimming but you can admire the ocean.

It was a great stay, provided us with a fabulous service certainly more than we expected to the amount we had to spend. Awesome hospitality, the staff was super friendly and special thank to the manager who was easily accessible and very supportive throughout our stay. Accompanied us to visit Sigiriya by his tuktuk early in the morning which was quite exceptional. Overall we appreciate their humanity among most of the money minded people. Highly recommended.

In the middle of the jungle, the staff is really nice and helpful, they managed many services for us (tuktuks, bike rental, safari, laundry and even umbrellas during the heavy night rains) We had all our meals there (breakfast was enough for lunch)

The hosts were so welcoming and helpful the entire stay. The room was so clean and comfortable with everything needed. In a very scenic location. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Sigiriya!

After somewhat difficult arrival because of the night rain and small car we had :-) we were kindly welcomed by our nice host Kumari, with whom we had an really interesting evening conversations during our stay. The room is nice and equipped. The breakfast was very good, freshly prepared, with local specialities. Located in a small settlement inside the jungle, one can really enjoy the nature around - and visit Sigiriya and surroundings.

Amazing host, kind and a lovely family. Air-con room was spacious, very clean, and with comfy beds. Good size bathroom with hot shower. A well designed room with plugs strategically placed for convenience. Breakfast was really good, kids loved the coconut roll. Garden around the home is really beautiful. Convenient location, just a couple of minutes walk out to the Main Street with restaurants and cafes. Highly recommend booking at Sigiriya Moonlight Home. We would book again.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The patties were some of the best I’ve ever had. They also served bananas grown on their own farm, called "Naga bananas." I was surprised by their rich, sticky texture. Whenever I asked for help with things I wanted to do or places I wanted to visit, they immediately made arrangements. They were incredibly reliable and helpful. Also, their child was so cute—it was very heartwarming.

I loved sleeping in a forest-like environment. I really missed it, and this treehouse was a lovely stay in that regard. The noise/sounds/music from the forest at night is the best. We really enjoyed everything: the treehouse, the view on the rock, the Loris tour at night, the breakfasts/lunches/dinners, and the simple but clean facilities, the safari... Make sure to discuss with the host about the different activities you can do around the rock (time, price, etc.). The host will help you out the best that he can, including dropping you at 5am at the bottom of the rock if necessary! Very kind family, business encouraged, I would come back there 100%.
