The nice homestay is surrounded by thick bush and trees. Easy access. Good roads. Was greeted immediately with cold juice. Room was better than expected. Large comfy bed with clean sheets and clean bathroom. AC and fan was great. Nice mosquito net above bed but no mosquitos. Break fast was large delicious simply amazing. Host was helpful and clearly takes good pride in his homestay. Host also offers taxi and tour services, I wish i had known prior hand as his prices for taxi from negembo and than to Kandy were so much more cheaper. Well Worth the money.

We stayed in this botanical garden. You can imagine how beautiful it is! In addition, the hotel owner has a very polite son and a naughty and lovely daughter. We felt very happy playing with them.

Being in the middle of nature, you can expect the delightful sounds of wildlife, including peacocks. It truly adds to the charm of the place. One of the highlights of our stay was the Sri Lankan food. The meals were not only delicious but also generously portioned. I highly recommend skipping outside restaurants and instead asking the staff to prepare dinner for you—you won’t be disappointed!
