Fantastic place with hosts that genuinely understand and care about guests and have created a magic place to stay that reflects this. The place to stay in Tangalle. I had to cancel one night in order to get an emergency passport and they didn't charge me cancellation fee. The hosts have thought about and prepared the place with thoughts about guests and not just making money. Would stay again definitely when in Tangalle next. It is a fantastic place to stay with funky colored rooms and little outdoor area and restaurant.

The room (with AC) and its bathroom was very clean and comfortable. We had a balcony on the river too. The family offers the possibility to have luch/dinner at their place for convenient prices. Sunethra, the woman who keeps the house is very friendly and she takes care of everything you need! Through the homestay we had the opportunity to book the Safari at Yala, they offer an half or full day experience and in the price are included the entrance ticket, the jeep and a lunch box. You don’t have to stress about anything. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Most loved place during our trip. We felt treated like family. All food was cooked by Jammy and was extraodinary delicious. Allways fresh fruits, superb seafood. Free trinking water from big multiuse bottles. We enjoyed this environmental offer. Large clean room. Nice large balcony with view to a beautiful garden.

Absolutely amazing place, great service, and a beautiful garden. Place to sit outside and just chill. I was in the ground floor room, and it was great. Bathroom was very clean and nice. Bed comfy, there was a little table for work. I was happy. Upper floor room is even better, with extra small balcony and a huge terrace. But what is the best about is the owner and his family. His service and all the help was astonishing.

Everything was fantastic! Spotlessly clean room, extremely comfortable bed and beautiful terrace. Effective but quiet AC and ceiling fan. Brilliant location near all the best beaches as well as lesser known beach on doorstep which is beautiful. Brilliant hosts who made us feel welcome and at home. They also organised scooter and helped with all aspects of organisation for our trip. Reasonably priced laundry service. Fantastic varied breakfast. One of the best places we have stayed in Sri Lanka, don't hesitate to book!

Our stay at this guesthouse was fantastic! The room was the best we had during our entire trip—super comfortable bed, hot water in the shower, and reliable WiFi. The owners were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. They prepared a delicious breakfast and snacks for our early morning safari, which was really thoughtful. We also had an amazing tuk-tuk tour around the lake, where we saw crocodiles, water buffalos, various birds, and thousands of fruit bats—such an incredible experience! On top of that, they added a special touch by decorating our bed beautifully for our honeymoon, which made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Tissamaharama!

Dilushika and Gayan were exceptional hosts, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delightful, and we also enjoyed dinner there—Dilushika's egg kottu is the best! The garden is stunning! I could have easily stayed longer. The beds were comfortable, complete with mosquito nets for a peaceful night's sleep. I loved sleeping by the soothing sounds of birds. The view is absolutely breathtaking! They also organize safari at the best price with excellent guides. Additionally, they arranged a taxi to Ella for us at a rate even better than Uber.
