Everything looked brand new, clean, well-maintained. Beds were super comfy, bathrooms excellent, plenty of space to breathe and unwind. The pool—two of them!—were exactly what I needed for a peaceful swim and to cool off. Breakfast was a highlight: generous, fresh, tasty, with enough variety that every morning felt like a treat. Location is perfect: tucked away enough for quiet and relaxation, but close enough to Rekawa Beach for beautiful walks and turtle watching . But what really made the stay special was Madura. Thoughtful, hospitable, always on point. Couldn't ask for a better host. He made sure everything ran smoothly, checked in just at the right times, gave helpful suggestions for things to do, Really appreciated his warmth. If you’re looking for a serene, well-designed escape, with excellent food, cleanliness, and superb hospitality — this is it. Don’t worry about the service, they’ve got it totally covered. Highly recommended. We’ll be back.

At the homestay, the units have bed linen and towels. In my opinion, this is the best place you can stay in Tangalle. It is located a little bit outside the center so calmer but still close enough so that within 5 minutes, you are in town if you wish to. Two of the most beautiful beaches of the area (Silent Beach and Goyambokka Beach) are within walking distance. The place itself is absolutely great. It's a beautiful house with the hosts living on ground floor and the rooms/apartments on 2nd and 3rd floor. They are very spacious and equipped with everything you need, both for a short vacation or for a longer term stay. The beds are comfortable and the mattresses have standard US/European length, so your feet won't stick out. The AC works properly and in addition there is a fan. The WiFi is perfectly stable and fast enough even for video calls. The bathroom is clean and designed in such a way so that you can take a shower without the entire floor being wet for hours. The host and his family are very friendly and welcoming. His English is very good which makes communication easy, and he replies very quickly. They offer food at their place and rent out scooters. Given the price all of this is offered to us as guests, this place definitely deserves a 10 star review. I have already recommended coming here to friends and am certain you will be happy staying here either.

Nature is very beautiful. is silent place staff was very friendly and helpful. Room is very cute value for the money. They have a small restaurant breakfast also very tasty and we can get something. They have taxi service over for Udawalwa and Hill country. We enjoy a lot thank you. Nice day Mountain sea views cabana.

It is set 35 km from Situlpawwa and offers a 24-hour front desk. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The guesthouse is close by the lake and by foot 10 min to the main road to have some food. The safari as really nice as well, but there is no extra guide if you prefer so. The driver was the guide. We booked the tour through the guesthouse. The room was perfect for a quick stay and the family was really nice and helped with everything. We also just got a juice after our safari from the host.

The property is located down a quiet street near a bus stop station and about a 15 minute walk from a grocery store and local restaurants. We were welcomed by the owners (husband and wife) and they offered us a welcome drink and showed us a booklet that provided information of all there is to see in Tangalle. The room was spacious and clean! We had breakfast here, cooked by the family and it was so beautiful of a breakfast. You can tell they put their love into it. Upon checkout, the family gave us advice for our next destination and even a snack for the road! The husband accompanied us to the bus station and helped hail down the bus and spoke with the man that drove it. It really eased our nerves because the busses aren’t marked and they FLY by so he was a huge help. Overall, couldn’t recommend this place enough!!

He sent us the bus schedule from Ella to Tissa, he drove us around the lake to see crocodiles and birds, and bats at a late time, he also arranged the safari in Yala for us for a great price, and prepared an early breakfast before leaving at 4:30. He drove us with his tuktuk when we needed to catch the bus to Tangalle and checked that we had successfully arrived. The room was also cozy and the location of the hotel is not far from the main road.
