Big and cozy room with everything that we needed. Nice neighbourhood. And of course our host is the nicest and hospital person we could find. Strongly recommend to book this place while visiting Colombo :)

Their house is in a quiet street, which is something to say in Colombo. I had a clean and pleasent room with a king-sized bed. Overall I had a great experience and would recommend this accomodation.

The property is located 7 km from R Premadasa Stadium, 7 km from U.S. Embassy and 8 km from Khan Clock Tower. Arcade Independence Square is 4 km away and Sinhalese Sports Club is 4.1 km from the guest house. This was the first stop in our Sri Lankan trip and We weren’t quite ready to brave the hustle bustle of Colombo, Athma house was perfect for that. A small escape where you could admire the city lights over the lake while nestled behind a jungle shield. However central enough for you get out there if you want to. The owner of the property was our highlight. A fabulous well traveled woman with a warm welcoming energy. Her mission to make us feel at home. The interior was a feast for the eyes. Authentic and eccentric. The property was originally built as her home and it still feels that way, lived in and full of soul. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer. We stayed for one night and would recommend a minimum of two nights.

At the homestay, all units have bed linen and towels. This villa was the perfect location for our visit to the passport office. We traveled to Sri Lanka and were able to obtain the passport under the emergency service. The villa is within walking distance of the Sri Lanka Immigration (Passport Office), making the process much more convenient. The place was very good—clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with big rooms. The owner was extremely helpful, accommodating our requests, and allowing us to come and go at any time. Highly recommended!

Certain units include a kitchenette, dining, and a washing machine facilities. Beautiful clean room. Staff were delightful and helpful. Breakfast was delicious (had both Sri Lankan and non Sri Lankan options). A bit out of town but we thought absolutely worth it. Would stay again. Loved it and didn't want to leave!
