I arrived very late, around 2 a.m., but the owner was waiting for me, welcomed me warmly, and helped me settle in, which I really appreciated. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy. Even though I stayed only one night and left early in the morning, I felt very comfortable. I would especially like to mention the kindness and helpfulness of the family who own this place. They are very friendly people and make you feel welcome and at home. Highly recommended if you want to stay with a local family and experience true Sri Lankan hospitality.

I especially loved the warm, discreet service. and that most of the staff have been in Mr Bawa's service for many years prior to his passing. They have a palpable sense of love and respect for the late Mr Bawa, his legacy and property. Their reverence and devotion is the most heart warming to encounter and speak volumes for the man we came to pay homage to.

We traveled to Sri Lanka and were able to obtain the passport under the emergency service. The villa is within walking distance of the Sri Lanka Immigration (Passport Office), making the process much more convenient. The place was very good—clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with big rooms. The owner was extremely helpful, accommodating our requests, and allowing us to come and go at any time. Highly recommended!

We checked in late but the receptionist was very helpful. I hope to go back to stay again.
