This place is twice as nice as the Ubay Homestay I stayed at in Trincomalee for which I paid much more - $30 per night. What's better about it, besides the lower price, is: More spacious, more modern room Fewer bugs (really hardly any) Larger, less smelly bathroom Much quieter setting. Instead of being in the middle of a bunch of other places, including a loud hostel next door, as Ubay was, this place is in a wide open, peaceful setting, the only close neighbor a church. Better breakfast at the same price - 1300 Free, filtered water A larger staff, very attentive, but unobtrusive, only there when you need them The two beaches nearby are quieter and less crowded Much thanks to Usha, the owner's wife, who speaks excellent English. She welcomed me graciously with fresh coconut water and gave me another one when I left.

It's was one of the best places we stayed at in all of srilanka. The rooms was perfect for 2 people with an extra large bed. The ac was a welcome addition in the hot afternoon temperatures. It's a short walking distance to the beach and would highly recommend for their wide open spaces in front of every room and even though there were other guests we barely felt cramped. The two kids with us really appreciated the large garden but because it was hot we mainly sat back and enjoyed the views. Usha and her team were so sweet we almost decided to stay back in Pasikudah only because we felt at home. Best place ever! Great value for money and no doubt we will return.

A bicycle rental service is available at the homestay. We had been stayed in Coastal villa Kallady for three nights.. owner was so good and kindfull to do our favor. We ate delicious breakfast, lunch and also dinner. We as a enjoyed Peacefull lagoon boat tours.. and precious sunrise and sunsets was best. Beach is also nearby, so happy to review for this homestay.. comfortable room and everything was clean , neat and traditional look.

One of the beaches is 20 minutes away by walking and the other one 30 minutes. Next to the hotel there is a little shop/ restaurant if you want to eat outside or need water.
