The owners have considered your every need with a well stocked mini bar, double sinks, plenty of storage and towels and fab comfy beds. Our room had a large balcony and a colour TV which enabled us to watch the Nitto finals. Breakfast was included in our rate and it was generous and delicious.

The Best Homestay in Nuwara Eliya – A True Local Experience! This family-run homestay gave us the most authentic and heartwarming experience of Sri Lankan hospitality. Our room was spotlessly clean and cozy, with an absolutely charming flower-filled balcony that made sunrise magical. Our host, Sanjaya, went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. He was so welcoming and caring, taking us to a gems shop and patiently waiting while we explored, helping us find perfect jackets, bringing us to amazing local restaurants, and showing us around Nuwara Eliya. The next morning after serving us a delicious homemade breakfast, he kindly drove us to the train station himself. What makes this place truly special is how the whole family makes you feel at home. If you want more than just accommodation but a genuine cultural experience with the kindest hosts, don't look further. Our highest recommendation! ✨

The host was very attentive, tuktuk rides offered by him were for a very reasonable price. Breakfast was amazing!

He welcomed us with tea and biscuits and was available at all times for anything we needed. We had to leave very early the next morning, and he prepared an amazing picnic box for us to take on the road. Always with a smile, he answered all our questions and made us feel completely at home. If we ever return to Nuwara Eliya, we will definitely contact him again. Highly recommended!

The attentive service and all-round comfort that the Edgware offers were a great way to cap off my wonderful time in Sri Lanka. All the staff, including Lukshan and Ishan were very welcoming, and did their best to make me feel at home throughout my stay. It was nice to have some good conversations with them. I had the opportunity to get an upgrade to a beautifully appointed and spacious room equipped with a high-roofed loft space, which gave off ski chalet vibes. While it was cold and damp for much of my time in Nuwara Eliya, inside it always felt warm and cosy, with nice touches like a virtual fireplace and a heater in my room. They also serve delicious food, including a superb Sri Lankan breakfast and a wide variety of dishes to choose from on their dinner menu, and offered complimentary tea/coffee and cake upon my arrival and when i got back after a morning out. Also they packed a nice breakfast for me for me to collect early in the morning when i headed out to Horton Plains.
