The hotel itself is very beautiful with so many lounge rooms, even with a yoga room. The guy that works at the reception, whose name is Jerad, is incredible. He did his best to make our stay so good. He treated us as if we were his beloved relatives. It was unbelievable. So sweet, and so pleasant. Jerad, thanks a million, because of you we had the best experience in Nuwara Elliya. The service is 5-star. Indeed. Our room was spacious, clean, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was cosy and beautiful too. I highly recommend Suriya Guest.

The food I had was great and the apartment looks pretty new and very clean (european standard, i’d say), tidy and smells good. The area is a bit off the beaten track, but worth a trip (tea plantations all around, lake views, nice locals) and is very easy to reach by bus from Hatton.
