From start to finish, our stay at Emerald was amazing! The room was super clean and comfortable, The bathroom was spacious with large shower and plenty of warm water The breakfast and dinner were both outstanding, with well-prepared local dishes that really showcased the flavors of the area. This is a very private, hidden-away location in walking distance to the National Park. In fact, you can't get closer by staying anywhere else--and this means you save time by getting to sleep in during the morning. The host and owner, Leel, doesn't speak much English, but uses Google Translate to always help. The rooms have the best A/C, and with only a few bedrooms on the property, it's very private and great for bird-watching. Simple, efficient, and relaxing.

This accommodation is simply amazing! The couple we stayed with for two nights was incredible. She cooked unbelievably well, and he drove us to every attraction for a bargain price. The rooms are very clean and well-equipped. I can only recommend this place!

Jeewa was very helpful. He drove us to see Anuradhapura, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Pollonaruwa. He also helped organise safari trip. His wife Oleena prepared us good meals every day. Place is quiet and relaxing.
