The guest house provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Had such a pleasant stay at Ban Vivanh. It was very comfortable and the property is beautiful. Vivanh is a lovely host and very accommodating. In the past, there was a footbridge to walk from near the property to the city center. Although the bridge is currently undergoing repairs, it is still super easy to get to the center either by boat (costs only 10,000 kip), tuk tuk, or a leisurely walk across the bridge (maybe 25 minutes tops). Actually, the seclusion of the property away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy city center was probably my favorite part. Highly recommend!

I also had the BEST shower to date in Southeast Asia, and the room is comfortable and quiet making sleep easy. You’re slightly outside of the main strip of Luang Prabang, but the bikes on-site are nicer than most rentals and make it easy and convenient to get around. Being slightly outside of the main drag also ensures you’ll explore other parts of the city.
