The first thing when I arrived was to offer me tea, bread.. sweats and tasty homemade jams were always on the table. I loved that village, you can easily walk on the hills and trails and enjoy the amazing nature all around.. there's a canal that runs in town and lower the temperature. You can witness there herds of sheep's and horses. for all these reasons I find Karabulak village more authentic and a better choice then Saty which is on flat surface and full with too much accomodations. I came for one day and stayed three days. Wonderful experience. and special thanks to sweet 13years old Kausar (the guesthouse is called by her name), while I was there the mother and her sisters were away, and she, together with her father, were cooking, preparing everything with love and care. It was great to witness her being so mature and caring. Thank you 🙏

The place really lives up to the name, super cozy, warm, and feels like you’re staying in someone’s comfy cabin rather than a random rental. We came in late autumn (basically almost winter) and it was still really warm inside, which was such a relief after being out exploring all day. The owner was super friendly and helpful. We rented a car and had no issues with parking. Location-wise, it’s perfect for visiting Kolsay and Kaindy. You can drive to Kaindy yourself but the road is pretty rocky and rough, so I’d actually recommend using their ride service. It’s not expensive and definitely less stressful than trying to take your own car up there. Breakfast is included and served at whatever time you agree on, and you can order other meals too which is super convenient when you just wanna stay in. Also tried the Russian banya, definitely recommend it. Just tell them ahead so they can prep it. Overall, really cozy spot, super homey vibes, perfect base for exploring the lakes. I’d definitely stay here again, totally recommend it.

The property has mountain and garden views, and is 46 km from Vosmoye Chudo Sveta Water Park. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. I had a simply wonderful time here. The host is exceptionally kind and always available for any questions, at any time of day. The room was clean, tidy, and pleasant, a cozy little guest unit that felt very private and welcoming. She’s also an amazing cook, the meals were delicious, thoughtful, and full of love. All around is the magical quiet of an authentic village, with green nature and a calming view. You’ll also be greeted by Chucha, the sweet family dog, who clearly loves guests and adds even more charm to the stay. A warm, peaceful local experience, exactly what I was hoping to find.

Room size is good: with one double bed and one single bed still enough space to walk and put luggage. The yard is cozy and each room has a little terrace to eat outside.

Nice guesthouse run by an incredibly nice and welcoming family! Located in a small village not far from Saty, it is nice and quiet and possible to walk up on the nearby hills to watch the sunset. Meals were also delicious, and although they didn’t speak perfect English, they were very nice and were able to make conversation using translators:)

The spacious living room and modern bathroom with heated floors were very comfortable in the cool weather, and the location is great — close to the lake, with a nice Indian restaurant right on the property. Breakfast was included (a simple omelet with two sausages, tea, and a salad), which was especially convenient given that there aren’t many other options around
