Anou was excellent care taker. She was super friendly & cooperative. Due to her we got best stay. We liked the most is her sincerity to cater every possible service. My partner and I spend 3 great days in Mr Bun Homestay. Mr Bun and his family/friends made our stay very comfortable and entertaining. We had breakfast and dinner with them and the other guests; food is incredible, always cooked by his Mother. The room was spacious and with air conditioning. Despite the homestay is not in the city centre (15 min by tuk tuk from the city centre) they were always happy to organize transport. In addition, they helped organizing the 3-days tour around the temples with the special Mr T (guide) and Mr C (tuk tuk driver), they were great!!! 100% recommended for people who want to have a Cambodian experience amd not looking for a 4-star hotel.

I stayed at Angkor Gecko’s Inn during my trip to Siem Reap and really enjoyed it. The place has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and the location on Sok San Road makes it easy to explore the town. Close to food, shops, and everything you need. My room was clean, comfortable, had good air conditioning, and reliable Wi-Fi. The staff were wonderful; friendly and always ready to help. Angkor Gecko’s is a comfortable inn, with nice touches like a cosy bar, pool and fussball tables. Overall, great value and a place I’d happily return to.

It's the perfect place. It's more of a private Airbnb than a hotel feeling. We had our own little kitchen, dining table and balcony. Everything is extremely clean and comfortable. And it feels very safe. The people running it are super nice. I honestly think this place is worth much more than the price they're asking for. I would especially recommend it to couples, families or friends. If you're travelling alone and like some quiet and peace then it's great for you too. If you're looking to be more social, maybe not. The place is a few streets outside of the center which in my opinion is perfect. You can take a passapp for a bit more than a dollar or have a nice stroll into town. You're already reaching the first restaurants etc in a few minutes walk. And there's a small local market just opposite of the place so you don't have to go far. If we ever need a hotel in Siem Reap again or have friends visiting, we will 100% book this place. Good luck to the owners for the future!
