Savets homestay is outside of the main city of Battembang. It is a very beautiful property and I felt like I was in the jungle. The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy. His friend drove me around for a half day tour and then we met up later with some other guests. It was a very memorable experience. If you have the chance take it. Probably the most genuine and lovely people I’ve met during my SEA travels. They’ll welcome you like family and make you feel completely at home. The place itself is beautifully nestled in the peaceful outskirts of Battambang, just a short 15–20 minute ride from the city. It’s rustic, calming, and perfect if you want to unwind and be pampered. Plus, there are plenty of adorable kids around who’ll brighten your day. Can’t wait to come back—highly recommended!

They made sure you're a well cared for. Went out for coffee in the morning, got some breakfast at the local market. Even took me on an outing for the day to their second property in the country. Anut, John and I had some great conversations. I hung out with Kimlang and UTI in the gardens. Kimlang is an excellent cook. I would highly recommend meal there. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. And they were just nice people to hang out with. He will just love a Anut's smile.
