The homestay exceeded our expectations! The owner drives and picks you up to/from the city centre throughout your stay. He speaks English fluently. He got us to connect with the locals: his family was visiting and we had a pleasant evening. We also got to experience the yearly local parade for the monks, something not a single travel guidebook will know about. The rooms are clean and the owner is always available if we needed something (information / laundry … ). Very good price/quality.

Bun and his family are so welcoming and our room was so spacious and clean! The breakfast each morning was amazing and there is also coffee/tea facility in the room and a kitchen facility guests can use. We booked a tuk tuk tour with Bun’s colleague which was brilliant. Our driver was so kind and friendly. Bun even invited us to join him and his friends for a few beers on our last night.

I stayed at Battambang Eco Stay for one night, and it gave me one of the best experiences ever. I truly want you all to experience it at least once in your life. You’ll get to feel the heart of rural Cambodia, with peaceful and friendly treatment from the staff, all while being surrounded by lush rice fields and traditional village life. Waking up in the morning to such a beautiful view made me feel like I was living a simple, peaceful lifestyle—it really helped heal my soul. Another great thing is that they can also teach you how to make traditional Khmer dishes! Plus, the rooms and bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. If you're looking for a relaxing, authentic Cambodian experience, Battambang Eco Stay is the place to be.

We were there in the rainy season so it was hot but at night and cooled down, and we slept very comfortably. The food was absolutely delicious. The family was very friendly. Everything was very clean with comfy beds. We stayed in the bungalow and it was super spacious with a really nice veranda to relax in outside with a hammock. Only a 10 minute walk to the bat cave and from there you can get a motorbike to take you to the top of the mountain to the killing caves (or you can walk up). Great place to stay. Would 100% recommend and wish we could have stayed longer.

I had a very nice stay at the Bar Ang guesthouse, the owners were very welcoming, took me out for breakfast as they don't prepare it there, and I also did the countryside tour with them, which was a great insight into a local life and beautiful views. The room was clean and spacious enough, and as there were no other guests at the time, I had a private bathroom with no need to share it.

They really take the time to talk to you and if you are lucky you even get to have dinner with the whole family (they also cook veggie if needed). Since we were leaving very early they provided us with a great early breakfast to go. Taking the tuk tuk tour with Harry (brother) is also recommended.

The accommodation is perfect, the bed is big and comfy, the room was perfectly clean. Close by walk to the market and to the center of Battambang. Possible to rent a scooter even. I had a small issue with a scooter but they were immediately reactive and proposed quick solutions. I really recommend! The lady who is selling rice cakes is extremely sweet and welcoming. She was very helpfull to me. I will miss this place! Thanks again
