I had a wonderful stay at the homestay. Savet, his wife, children and family were so friendly, warm, and accommodating. They really went out of their way to accommodate me with everything I needed. I booked last minute and Savet even left work early to come and greet me and take me cycling. The bamboo hut made by Savets brother was beautiful, the photos don’t do it justice. Breakfast made by Savets wife was delicious, she even served traditional Cambodian desserts with it. As others have said, the cycling tour was great. Savet took me even though it was raining. We cycled through his village and he gave a lot of information on the way. The location was just out of Battambang town, however Savet will transport you to and from the homestay to get to your bus, restaurants etc. I had such an incredible local experience here that I wouldn’t have got anywhere else. I am really glad I chose to stay here and not in town. Highly recommend.

Amazing homestay! Bun and his family are so welcoming and our room was so spacious and clean! The breakfast each morning was amazing and there is also coffee/tea facility in the room and a kitchen facility guests can use. We booked a tuk tuk tour with Bun’s colleague which was brilliant. Our driver was so kind and friendly. Bun even invited us to join him and his friends for a few beers on our last night.

Very welcoming and accommodating staff. Great food. Clean space. Nice to be out of the city, still accessible to grab and had no issues with this. Pisey was also happy to take us into town for the bus

Very nice host, he cooked for us delicious breakfast, helped with finding a local guide to visit the city. The place is very quiet, in the great outdoors.

I had a very nice stay at the Bar Ang guesthouse, the owners were very welcoming, took me out for breakfast as they don't prepare it there, and I also did the countryside tour with them, which was a great insight into a local life and beautiful views. The room was clean and spacious enough, and as there were no other guests at the time, I had a private bathroom with no need to share it.

The accommodation was perfect. Quiet place close to the center. 20 minutes walk, 5 minutes by bike. The room was beautiful, clean, tidy. The owner was very helpful. The staff was nice. The owner lent us bikes to travel around Battambang. Possibility of washing clothes 1kg = 1$. I can recommend the accommodation.

Lovely family that will take care of you. I felt home and safe in Battambang. Breakfast (eggs, onion and real “French baguette” with coffee)is included in the price 😍 I also recommend people to eat dinner with the family (a lot of food + dessert) The family is really helpful and will show you the real local experience of Battambang. Much better than other guides in the city. Happy to find my joy back during my stay at this guesthouse. They also pick you up from the bus station, and if you ask Harry he can organise a Tuktuk to bring you to the bus station at the end of your stay.
