Nice bathroom with separated toilet. Glimpse of Mt Fuji from the 1st floor apartment window. We only spent one night but found this to be the best value option in Kofu. Self check in was a multi step process as some of the reviews say buy it's ok if you follow the instructions in the right order. Have fun with it!

It is located 11 km from Lake Kawaguchi and provides a shared kitchen. Guests can make use of a garden. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The room was exceptional. The manager was the best and went above and beyond for our small request.

Our host Yumiko was adorable and took many initiatives to make our stay better organised and suggest activities and recommend places to eat.

Great location, near fujisan trail (station 0) and near the bus to station 5. They also have a mini onsen for those weary legs.

Guest House Zen is a beachfront property situated in Yamanakako, 18 km from Fuji-Q Highland and 21 km from Lake Kawaguchi. The 1-star guest house has air-conditioned rooms with a shared bathroom and free WiFi. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. 3-5minute walk to the bus stop (we caught the bus from Mt Fuji station). The rooms were sparkling clean, tatami mats were comfier than our previous hotel beds, the kitchen was great for cooking a home cooked meal with full utensils available. The free bikes were a highlights for us! We used them for a full day and got to visit local food spots (Yamanaka Terrace was our favourite cafe), bike up a hill to a short 20minute view spot of Mt Fuji, and around Lake Yamanaka. The owner was super hospitable and helpful. We hope to come back and visit again one day 😊 thank you!

Amazing place in a beautiful peaceful spot. Wonderful food, and very kind and friendly hosts.

Free private parking is available and the guest house also features bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. The owner was very nice and ultra helpful. He gave us an onsen bath and helped wherever he could. The accommodation is in a residential area and didn't feel very touristy and we were able to relax. The accommodation has a great charm and the rooms are very traditional. We'll be back!

This was the nicest stay among many other places I’ve been to this summer in Japan. The guesthouse is super clean, bright and cozy. Above all, the host is such a kind and caring person, I’ve felt like at home 💗☀️
