Yumiko was very welcoming and kind, gave great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is also in walking distance from some very nice sights. We can highly recommend to stay here. A bonus was that we woke up with views of Mt Fuji on our last day. Thank you Yumiko for an unforgettable experience!

The house is managed by a son and his mother, who can communicate only in limited English. However, we managed to discuss my situation, and they allowed me to return at 1 pm for an early check-in. The entire property exudes a sense of history, and the summit of Mt. Fuji can be fully seen from the window of my tatami room (quadruple room), with its peak illuminated by the rising sun at around 5 am – a truly surreal experience.

For those seeking a haven of relaxation and unparalleled hospitality, Vegetarian Jamoo is the place for you. I got the best views of Mt Fuji from lake Yamanakako.
